Question: Twins

I went to the Er last Thursday a pregnancy test was negative one week later (today) I took a test 5 days prior to my period and the test was a dark positive test. I’m very excited and happy but I got to thinking holy moly my hormones have gone crazy I’m one and to my knowledge huh doubles every 48-72 hours how can my hormones be SO strong in 1 week.

I’m 37 years old I myself am a twin so now the questions are in full throttle. I have been googling it to find nothing.

Any insight or past experience friends it would be great. I’m 3 week 2 day so I won’t be seeing a dr for a few week. Thank you and happy holidays
